theblueflashinglight: @juliejazz hm damn thats true.. :/ could be that he was saving the better ones for the solo..?ah well.we shall wait.. :D and (dont mind me sorry) but i always though liam was the one if not hindering then at least not helping with the speed of making records and stuff?a few recordings took some time because liam procrastinated doing the vocals...
and i'm sure it will be spectacular, even if they were the less brilliant of his songs, it's noel gallagher, how bad can it get.. :D
juliejazz: @theblueflashinglight I believe he has been stockpiling. But if something goes into a stockpile, it usually means the artist put it there because he didn't think it was necessarily up to par with whatever he was putting out at the moment. Or perhaps needs serious tweaking. But serious tweaking means work and without Liam nagging him to move things along, I think Noel will take his time. And taking your time builds pressure to do something spectatcular. Which builds yet more pressure....
theblueflashinglight: @nancyzeetoo unfortunately quite true.. :( but hasnt noel been stocking up songs?i've heard unreleased songs sung in soundchecks and stuff so he might (hopefully) use them in his solo album and get it done faster that way.like how most songs on the first few oasis albums were already written before they got a record deal.as for beady eye i do agree with you though..sigh..
nancyzeetoo: @theblueflashinglight I understand. But I wouldn't hold my breath for either project to tell you the truth. I'm afraid Noel will fall into the same sort of pattern Ray Davies did when he finally split from his impetuous little brother who had to push to get things done. Took Ray about 10 years to do his first solo album, and it was pretty uninspiring when it was all said and done. As for Beady Eye, I'm on the fence as to whether we'll see it, and if we do, if it's likely to be listenable.
