Duration: 5min 12sec
JooJooEyeballBeatle: Great stuff Liam.
Keep up the good work!
MarieKristy: It's just like seeing John Lennon and Paul McCartney in the late 60's, early 70's! ;o) Just lovely!
Mustardhead40: @habib234 there is way too much money on the table for a reunion for those 2 massive agos to turn that down.
They are so much alike thats why they dont get along - Noel is more intelligent and subtle yet still arrogant and Liam is the fire, the frontman, make or breaks the songs as u say the sum is greater than them individually. That being said i will be at the Beady Eye show in NYC in June and i am sure it will rock. I find it interesting that Liam sounds better than ever now.
habib234: @Mustardhead40 despite the bitching and the questionable merit of gallagher solo projects, I think its safe to assume a joint Gallagher project is what the world wants. The sum is greater than its individual parts and Liam and Noel know this.
Now if they could put their sibling issues to one side......
I should listen to my own advice sometimes...
Mustardhead40: @habib234 i think that was a special time and he did capture alot of it - for me I am not a brit but American and at least for me i loved Oasis particularly Liam for his complete fuck u attitude on stage . Without Liam alot of Noels song would not have flown to the heights they flew to - i just think Noel treated the band like they were 22 y/o's instead of the grown men they are and that caused the riff i mean cmon Liam is 38. I have no doubt Oasis will reform and make alot of money
habib234: @Mustardhead40 granted, noel has written some vacuous tunes during Oasis's career but at the same time he also wrote Live Forever, which to me is about facing overwhelming pessimism and telling it to fuck right off or Wonderwall, a poem about inarticulate love and lust. Maybe I'm being too harsh, Beady Eye have only just started, and maybe the next album will be their Morning Glory, but my point is DGSS doesn't really capture the mood of the nation the way DM or MG did.
Mustardhead40: @habib234 to some extent i agree with u but cmon Columbia a song about coke, hello a song about ? digsy diner ? do ya know what i mean, i can see a liar ? dont look back in anger i mean its not anyone would confuse Noel with hemingway - Oasis has been about in yer face attitude, crunching guitars, sing along anthems, paying homage to the past aka the beatles- i find myself humming alot of the beady eye songs and not so much the NG songs from the last 10 yrs - i mean Roll it over my son
yourdairyman: Great tunes on the new album. What an excellent release.
habib234: @Mustardhead40 but the music is so ...meaningless. DM and WTMSG were about escaping the banality of a working class existence, about having nothing, wanting everything, and going out and getting it. OK Supersonic and Shakermaker, were hardly insightful lyrics that were not going to win the Pulitzer Price, but Noel was able to say what he wanted to say in those songs concisely and his sentiments were resonated up and down the country and worldwide too. What the hell is the Roller about ?
Mustardhead40: @habib234 irrevelant - comes down to the songs and the performances
they are not politicians they are musicians
sellobic: Nice fookin airdo Liam. Ya dick
dibit07: Has Gem been hanging around with someone from Blackpool??
"Double Fresh" love it everything is double everything here Double Good
habib234: @roryclynes1 look mate, it was an opinion. You happen to disagree and I respect that. What I do object is to you referring to my opninon as 'shyt' ( what are you too scared to use the actual word for fear of offending ? ). As Noel stated many times in his interviews over the years, he took over because the other members weren't interested pre 1999. If Noel hadn't provide leadership earlier on, you think beady eye would have the exposure and goodwill they are having now ?
roryclynes1: @habib234 wrong, he actually really enjoys being let loose and able to put his own hard work in. he didnt like noel taking over the whole oasis thing and thts why they fell out a lot. you just try and speak posh to make it sound like "one" is intelligent but it was just pure shyt. soz man.
cutandpaste1: good liam stuff
ohugitmeueffingc: you know what i mean? *clap hands* you know what I mean? *clap hands* you know what i mean? *clap hands* you know what I mean? *clap hands* you know what i mean? *clap hands* you know what I mean? *clap hands* you know what i mean? *clap hands* you know what I mean? *clap hands* you know what i mean? *clap hands* you know what I mean? *clap hands*... What a stupid cunt ha ha ha!
theselector: @habib234 Well certainly there's an element of moving into new territory , being a new band with new songs & not knowing what the public's reaction will be & this is going to cause insecurity but gradually they'll get through it. I think if they stick to it they'll be great. They've got the songs , style , image and swagger and don't sound like any other band out there at the moment which is going to help them tremendously. As far as the PR is concerned I think Liam's doing a great job.
habib234: Despite Liam's bluster, one can sense he is missing Noel tremendously. Noel did all the work in Oasis, writing, recording & promoting. As the figurehead of Oasis, it is Liam's inarticulacy that will go against Beady Eye. Noel had great versatility in his interviews, providing insight into the creation of the songs, recording and although occasionally profane, it was considerably less than his younger brother...
djsoul87: une putain de rock star ce liam! tout comme oasis ca va sonner énorme
