In 1993 Oasis in fact drove up from Manchester to Glasgow to play in one of the best small venues in the UK calleed King Tuts Wah Wah Club after being invited by a band that shared their rehearsal studios. They were refused entry as they were not on the gig list for that night, so bullied their way in to the club. In the King Tuts that night was Andy McGee, owner of Creation Records...Andy loved it, signed them and the rest is history.....

SypherDubstep: Just to let you know, incase you weren't aware, the reason why Liam and Noel in fact, has so much respect for Richard is because if it weren't for him Oasis would have found it very hard to get into the music industry. Richard heard one of Oasis's early songs and thought 'Fuck me they're good' and Oasis performed before one of The Verve's gigs, and that is where it all kicked off If I remember correctly, I may be wrong :)
