They are still important and hugely relevant today as a constant reminder of what Britain is and stands for! They inspired many bands to do the same and kept good old British invasion alive as away of telling the world to fuck off and reminding them that we are and always will be better than them.

As for his voice, well in 1995 he sounded great but since then, he really has'nt developed as a singer much, in fact he's gotten worse live because of a number of reasons I would imagine, but I would say its cause he has been smoking since he was 15 and is now nearly 39.
